Titanium nitride - TiN
Because
of its effectiveness in different industrial applications, TiN
is known as a universal coating and occupies about 90% of the
coatings market. It
shows a characteristic golden color, some examples of its applications
include cutting tools, mold components and elements for food and
medical industries.

Aluminum-Titanium Nitride - AlTiN
The
AlTiN is the best solution for applications where high resistance
to oxidation is required, as in high speed machining. This
coating exhibits an oxidation temperature above 800°C. The AlTiN is
a versatile coating continuosly finding new applications. Excellent
for machining of gray iron, hardened steel, stainless steel, titanium
and high nickel alloys
, etc.
Suitable
for high temperature applications.
Chromium
Nitride - CrNThis
coating is widely used in industrial applications where a good
protection against corrosion and good resistance to adhesive wear is needed. Examples
of the use of this coating are: in
plastic injection molds and metal forming dies. CrN
coatings are also useful for machining of non-ferrous alloys such as
aluminum and titanium alloys.
Chromium Nitride (TF-CrN)
Special chromium nitride with excellent functional properties when applied to elements exposed to abrasive and adhesive wear, such as molds and dies. The TF-CrN shows a friction coefficient lower than the CrN in monolayer, it also shows excellent resistance to corrosion and high temperature oxidation.

The TiCrN is a coating with excellent abrasive wear resistance with superior protectection against corrosion and oxidation of molds and dies. The TiCrN protective features are better than those exhibited by the CrN and TiN coatings by themselves.
